Bell Tent Footprints
Tent Footprints are tarps placed under camping tents to protect against wear, tear, and abrasion from sticks, rocks, and uneven ground. Footprints should not be confused with the primary tent floor, which CanvasCamp calls a groundsheet. The heavy-duty groundsheets on our Sibley Bell Tent Deluxe, Ultimate, and Pro Series are designed to be used without a footprint and are burly enough to be pitched directly on gravel. Footprints are recommended for use with Sibley Bell Tents only to keep groundsheets clean when camping in muddy conditions. Keeping your groundsheet clean with a footprint can save time when breaking down camp.
