Sibley 600 Twin Ultimate
The Sibley 600 Twin Ultimate is a mash up of two bell tents connected with a ridge pole. The unique oval shaped floor plan offers a central living room area with two “wings” on either side. The steep angle of the canvas and high ceilings of the Twin provide lots of useable space and room to walk around. Inside and out, the Twin looks and feels as large as the (round) Sibley 600. However, the Twin is smaller by the numbers: Measuring 6 meters x 4 meters (19ft 8in x 13ft 1in) with 20,5m² (220 ft²) of floor space The Sibley 600 Twin is also known as a medieval wedge tent, Emperor Tent, or a Double Bell Tent. All bell tents in the Sibley Ultimate series are made of waterproof Classic Canvas (320 gr/m² or 9.5 oz/yd²) and have zip in/out bathtub style floors. To take advantage of the Twin’s additional side door and create a multiple room tent, use a Sibley Connector to join the Twin with a second Sibley of any size.
Made of 100% cotton canvas.
CanvasCamp is the only bell tent manufacturer to proudly bear the Seal of Cotton™.
The 600 Twin is ideal for 4 glampers on queen beds and a full living room set up, or as many as 10 campers on sleeping pads. The dual center poles and oval shape provide ample ‘pacing space’. | |

Twin A-frame Doors The 600 Twin is equipped with a front door and a side door. The side door includes two square mesh windows equipped with roll up canvas covers. The Sibley’s signature A-frame door allows for easy entry and exit, and holds the canvas at 90 degrees from the ground preventing rain from falling into the tent when moving in and out. Spring loaded poles snap together quickly for easy set up and fold together for fast take down and organized storage. The top of each A-frame door is equipped with a pin that sits in a grommet at the peak of the door to ensure proper placement. A rain cap is then placed over the pin and grommet to keep rain from running down the poles. The canvas doors zips together vertically. Each side of the door is equipped with loops and ropes to neatly tie back the canvas and hold them open when not in use. The 600 Twin can be arranged in conjunction with additional Sibley attached to the second side door with a Sibley Connector to create a multiple room tent. |

Twin Bells and Oval Floor Plan The 600 Twin is a mash up of two bell tents connected with a ridge pole. The unique oval shape of creates two “wings” with a central living room area. The steep angle of the canvas and cathedral like ceilings of the Twin provide ample ‘pacing space’ and a roomy interior. Two people are required to raise the dual center poles. The oval shape and multifaceted structure necessitate even and taut tension on each and every guy line. As the tent settles and shifts on the ground in the breeze it is important to re-tension the guy lines as necessary. Due to the weight and size of the canopy, any amount of snow or ice accumulation can structurally compromise your tent, read more about snow load in our FAQ. |

Roll Up Side Walls and Zipper Groundsheet Our Ultimate groundsheets attach to the tent with a zipper and are made of durable, thermally welded, PVC (540 gr/m² or 15.93 oz/yd²). Completely water and vapor impenetrable, the ‘bathtub style’ floor rises 4 inches high to keep you dry even in standing water. Using a heavy duty size 10 zipper to attach the sidewall to the groundsheet, you can unzip the floor to roll up the canvas walls for maximum ventilation, or remove the groundsheet entirely for transport, storage, cleaning, or to enjoy the grass or sand beneath your feet. A tail gate style system of secure hooks and loops allows you to drop the bathtub wall near the door and peg it flat to prevent tripping and facilitate easy cleaning. A small gap between the two zippers in the back allows an electrical cord to enter the tent without compromising protection from rain and bugs. |

Standard Stakes and Pegs The Standard stakes and pegs are designed for easy insertion and removal from average earth, like grass or forest floor. The stakes for the guy lines are curved like a shovel to securely hold tension in the ground, and have a lip at the top to prevent the guy line from slipping off. The pegs for the floor are round to slip through the grommets on the groundsheet, and have a hook shaped top and hold the floor in place. All standard stakes and pegs measure 22cm (8.6 inches). If your application requires the heavy duty stakes for high wind or hard, rocky, or frozen ground, check out our Pro Series. |

Classic Canvas Our Classic Canvas (320 gr/m² or 9.5 oz/yd²) on the Ultimate, Deluxe, and Standard series is the perfect balance of performance and breathability. Our proprietary treatment enhances the natural water resistance of canvas, and is excellent protection for moderate climates and casual use. Repairable and retreatable, a properly maintained Classic Canvas tent can last for years. Double stitched, flat-felled roof and side wall seams, seam gussets, and double-layer construction at all stress points create a classic and durable bell tent. For variable climates, four season, or long term use check out our Pro canvas on the Pro and ProTech Series. 100% Cotton canvas provides a natural waterproofing and breathability. Cotton fibers swell when damp, the tight weave prevents rain from penetrating and the surface tension of moisture drops on the outside combined with the steep angle of the canopy allows water to bead and run off. Moisture held in the air on the inside is still able to escape directly through the fabric, keeping internal humidity low and mitigating condensation. Check out our FAQ for more information than you could ever need to know about cotton canvas and proper tent maintenance. |

Stove Compatibility All CanvasCamp tents are easily adaptable for use with a wood burning tent stove. Proper stove placement is dependent on stove size, tent size, flu exit style, desired temperature, and the environment you intend to camp in. One size fits all, pre-installed stove jacks fail to provide customers with the level of customization necessary to achieve ideal stove placement and maximum utility. To ensure proper placement and ideal efficiency, CanvasCamp offers modular stove jacks (sold separately) that can be easily installed in any cotton canvas bell tent in just a few minutes. Stove jacks are available in a variety of shapes and sizes so you can choose the jack that fits your tent and stove perfectly. Read our blog or contact us to learn more about the best stove and placement for your specific application. Canvas bell tents are not for use with open fire pits. Fire safety is the responsibility of the user. We encourage you to educate yourself and practice vigilant fire safety. Read our FAQ and blogs to learn more about fire safety. Do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or concerns at any time. Always check local fire restrictions prior to starting a fire as rules and regulations may change frequently throughout the year.
