Obelisk Shower and Toilet Tent
Sometimes you might need a private enclosure at your camping site to install a shower or a toilet, that’s why we offer you this Obelisk Shower and Toilet Tent. This outdoor shower tent is made of sturdy polycotton so mold and dirt are less likely to spoil the canvas. The windows on each side of the canvas tent enable you to let in natural light and maybe even enjoy the view. The use of the tent is not limited to sanitary use and can be used to sleep in as well. There are no limits when it comes to versatility.
The Obelisk can be used as a tent to sleep in, but originally it was designed as a shower tent. Because of this the choice was made to use a polycotton canvas which holds less water when it gets wet to prevent molds to develop. The mixture of cotton and polyester ensures that the canvas is extra water and mold repellant whilst making it a bit lighter as well.
Doors, Windows and Vents
There is a door on the front as well as at the back of the tent. Each door also has an additional mesh door so the tent can ventilate enough when not in use while keeping out critters. One of the doors can be pitched as an awning using the extra guy lines and telescopic poles. The windows on each side of the tent are equipped with no-see-um windows as well. These windows can be opened for extra ventilation, to enjoy the surroundings or letting in light during daytime. When your tent is completely closed, the two vents on the top of the roof can be opened using velro.
When using a lot of water the soil underneath a shower tent can get muddy and soggy. The PE groundsheet (180 gr/m2) in the Obelisk Shower Tent is bathtub shaped so the water is captured. After showering the groundsheet can easily detached with the use of hooks and the water can be discarded on a more distant location. It’ll also prevent your feet getting dirty while showering. If you were to use the tent to sleep in, the groundsheet will help to keep you and stuff dry when it’s raining heavily.
Durable Guy Lines and Tensioners
Our Obelisk Shower Tent comes with 3mm guy ropes that are already attached to the tent; except for the two used for pitching one of the doors as an awning. Plastic tensioners prevent edges from cutting into the guy lines and prolong the life of your tent.
All CanvasCamp tents are easily adaptable for use with a wood burning tent stove. Proper stove placement is dependent on stove size, tent size, flu exit style, desired temperature, and the environment you intend to camp in. One size fits all, pre-installed stove jacks fail to provide customers with the level of customization necessary to achieve ideal stove placement and maximum utility. To ensure proper placement and ideal efficiency, CanvasCamp offers modular stove jacks (sold separately) that can be easily installed in any cotton canvas tent in just a few minutes. Stove jacks are available in a variety of shapes and sizes so you can choose the jack that fits your tent and stove perfectly.
