The All-Purpose Shelter is the ultimate outdoor essential — a rugged, versatile tarp built to handle just about anything. Made from military-grade Tentex® TC45 cotton (450 g/m²), it’s engineered for heavy-duty, long-term use in demanding environments.
Reinforced eyelets and loops along every edge allow for countless pitching and tensioning options. Use it as a makeshift shelter, sunshade, camping tarp, ground cover, windstopper, firewood cover, water collector, divider curtain, picnic blanket, pool tarp, vehicle cover, or garden work tarp — the possibilities are nearly endless.
Available in multiple shapes (square, rectangular, triangular) and sizes, the All-Purpose Shelter adapts to your needs — whether in the backcountry, at the campsite, or in your own backyard.
Please Note
Due to the heavy-duty weight of the canvas, larger sizes are less suitable for casual camping trips — always use sturdy poles for correct setup.
On larger models, wind can exert significant force on the fabric: the bigger the tarp, the less resistant it becomes to powerful gusts.
These tarps deliver the best price-to-quality ratio for durable cotton shelters, but as a natural product, they are not suitable for permanent year-round use as a fixed awning. For semi-permanent or all-weather structures, we recommend our Stretch Tents.
Durable Materials: Fabric & Coating
The All Purpose Tarps are manufactured from Tentex® PC39. The fabric is made from ring-spun yarn, woven in a very dense twill weave (duck woven) and is extremely strong and durable due to the applied coating, while remaining very comfortable in all weather conditions and throughout all seasons. Suitable for intensive / professional use.

The All Purpose Tarps feature an oil-based coating that makes it UV-resistant, fade-resistant, water-repellent, and resistant to mold and rot — all while preserving the fabric’s breathability.Â
