The Mess Apex is manufactured from Tentex® TC42. The fabric is made from ring-spun yarn, woven in a very dense twill weave (duck woven) and is probably the world’s most durable tent fabric in its class due to the applied coating, while remaining very comfortable in all weather conditions and throughout all seasons.Â
With impressive tear and tensile resistance, this material offers an unrivalled combination of strength, flexibility and comfort. Moreover, the green canvas lets in little light, ideal for sleepers. Suitable for intensive / professional use.

The Mess Apex Series features a German-made, oil-based coating that makes it UV-resistant, fade-resistant, water-repellent, fire-resistant CPAI-84, and resistant to mould and rot — all while preserving the fabric’s breathability. This invisible treatment is, without question, one of the most critical factors in your tent’s performance, giving the Temple the edge as arguably the most durable tent in its class worldwide. The protective coating is integrated into the fabric fibers before the tent is even produced, ensuring long-lasting protection from day one.

The heavy-duty bathtub-style groundsheet rises some 25cm high and is made of durable 100% waterproof polyethylene for maximum comfort, and features rip-stop for strength. The tub-style groundsheet is virtually indestructible and allows camping on any surface. Even if your tent sits in 10 cm of water for months on end, you and your gear will stay perfectly dry. The groundsheet is attached to the tent with a heavy-duty zipper so that water and vermin have no chance.Â
