The Tipi Traveller Series is manufactured from Tentex® PC28. The material is made from combed yarn, woven in a plain weave.

The Tipi Traveller Series is treated with a water-based coating to be UV resistant, fade resistant, water repellent, and mould and rot resistant while maintaining breathability. The coating was integrated into the tent fabric fibers prior to production.

The heavy-duty bathtub-style groundsheet rises some 12cm high and is made of durable 100% waterproof polyethylene for maximum comfort, and features rip-stop for strength. The tub-style groundsheet is virtually indestructible and allows camping on any surface. Even if your tent sits in 10 cm of water for months on end, you and your gear will stay perfectly dry. The groundsheet is attached to the tent with a heavy-duty zipper so that water and vermin have no chance.

Exceptionally Storm-Resistant - The cone shape of the tipi, widely embraced by Native Americans of the Great Plains, sheds wind, rain, and snow better than any other tent shape. The single center pole provides unrivaled tensile strength that extends all the way to the ground. A well-pitched Tipi can withstand gale force winds and driving snow!

Stove vent - Every Tipi comes with a fully removable canvas rain cap, allowing a stove chimney to be vented directly through the top. The cap is equipped with extra-long guy lines, which keep it secure in strong winds or let you fold it open from the ground for added ventilation on hot days.

Quick-straps - In good weather, the door can be secured open with handy quick-release fasteners, while the secondary mosquito net door keeps the tent well-ventilated and insect-free.

Zipped-In Tub Groundsheet - The heavy duty groundsheet is made of 100% waterproof PE with rip-stop for durability, offering comfort and strength. Completely water- and vapor-proof, the bathtub-style floor rises 12 cm high to keep you dry even in standing water. A heavy-duty size 10 zipper securely attaches the canvas to the groundsheet, yet allows you to unzip and cinch up the walls with guy lines for maximum ventilation. The groundsheet can also be removed entirely for transport, storage, cleaning, or simply to enjoy the grass or sand beneath your feet. 

High-Performance Polycotton Canvas - A breathable, long-lasting blend designed for four-season use.

UV-Treated Reflective Guy Ropes - 5 mm polyester ropes with inner strength core and outer protective sheath. 

Forged Steel Tent Pegs - Suitable for both soft and hard ground conditions.

The Tipi Traveller is compatible with a Wood-Burning Stove: 

• Yes! Featuring an open-folding top, our design allows for easy exit from the tent with a stove pipe, eliminating the need to cut or sew the canvas. If you prefer not to position your stove in the center, you can utilize our Exit option. Our Exits enable you to install any type of heater in any location within the tent. The CanvasCamp Stove Exits are compatible with all stoves and can be installed in approximately 10 minutes.
