The Big Horn Series is manufactured from two different types of fabric. Tentex® PC39 is used for the roof and Tentex® PC28 for the rest of the tent. 

The roof is manufactured from Tentex® PC39 the fabric is made from ring-spun yarn, woven in a very dense twill weave (duck woven). Comfortable in all weather conditions and throughout all seasons.

The roof of the Big Horn Series is treated with an oil-based coating to be UV resistant, fade resistant, water repellent, and mould and rot resistant while maintaining breathability. The coating is invisible, but without a doubt the most important aspect of your tent. The coating was integrated into the tent fabric fibers prior to production.

The side walls are manufactured from Tentex® PC28. The material is made from combed yarn, woven in a plain weave.

Canvas treated with a water-based coating to be UV resistant, fade resistant, water repellent, and mould and rot resistant while maintaining breathability. 

• Water Column: 400 mm. - EN ISO 811 - Tropical downpour: 200L of water per hour / m²
• Spray Test: 90~100 - ISO NF EN 4920
• Color Fastness: 6~7 (120H) - ISO 105-BO2
• Fire resistance: BS7837:1996
• Soil Burial Test: Grade B - ISO 13934-1 tensile strength after BS 6085 soil burial (30 days) ≤ 30% loss.

The heavy-duty bathtub-style groundsheet rises some 12cm high and is made of durable 100% waterproof polyethylene for maximum comfort, and features rip-stop for strength. The tub-style groundsheet is virtually indestructible and allows camping on any surface. Even if your tent sits in 10 cm of water for months on end, you and your gear will stay perfectly dry.

The Big Horn Series is compatible with a Wood-Burning Stove: 

• All of our tents can be equipped with a stove.
  Unlike some models, this series does not come with a pre-installed stove vent, giving you the freedom to choose the stove type and placement that best suits your needs. Our CanvasCamp Stove Exits are compatible with any stove and can be installed anywhere in the tent in just about 10 minutes.
